Our much‑loved annual 2026 Sydney Foster and Kinship Care Week Picnic will take place on Sunday 30 August 2026, from 11am to 3pm, at Whitlam Leisure Centre, Liverpool.
Each year, this special day brings our carer community together to celebrate you and to say a huge thank you for the incredible work you do providing safe, nurturing and stable homes for children and young people. You really are the stars of the show. ⭐
We’re not clowning around when we say there’ll be fun for the whole family, including:
🎢 Awesome rides
🍔 Delicious food stalls
🤹 Circus skills workshops
🐐 A petting zoo
🎪 And plenty more show‑stopping activities!
The picnic is open to foster and kinship carers, guardians and adoptive parents in NSW, along with the children and young people you care for and their families.
We can’t wait to see you there!
General Conditions of Entry.
The 2026 Sydney Foster and Kinship Care Week Picnic is an inclusive event for carers and their families to enjoy. The safety of all attending the event is paramount. Adopt Change (Organiser) reserves the right to refuse entry to the event to any person who causes a disturbance or has previously created risk for the organisation or other members of the Carers for Kids program.
Measures will be taken to ensure anyone who causes a disturbance, either actual or implied, or refuses to comply with reasonable requests made by the Organiser, will be denied entry and/or evicted from the event.
