Kick off the summer in Downtown Pontiac at the 2026 Swinging Bridges Arts Festival, in partnership with Red Carpet Corridor weekend on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd! Hosted by the Greater Livingston County Arts Council, this will be the 6th Annual Swinging Bridges Arts Festival.This year marks the 100th anniversary of the iconic Mother Road, U.S. Route 66. To celebrate, the festival will feature the Skoolie Swarm, where 50+ unique rigs will line Downtown Pontiac for visitors to explore, paying tribute to legendary Route 66 artist and traveler Bob Waldmire and his famous conversation bus.
This family-friendly festival will bring two days of live music (with headliner Chicago Farmer performing Saturday at 7:00 PM), fine art vendors, a community mural, food trucks, interactive activities, and more to the 200 block of West Madison Street, the alleyway, and The Eagle Theater.
