Join the 2026 SVDP Fundraiser WALKATHON!
Get ready to lace up your sneakers for a 3 mile walk and support a great cause! This in-person event is all about helping Vallejo families in need. Bring your friends, enjoy the snacks, soak up the live ukulele band and make a real difference in the community. Please consider donating!
St. Vincent de Paul Society has been around since 1833 and the Vallejo nonprofit has been consistently serving our community since the 1980s. With different churches around Vallejo assisting with different needs, the funds from this walkathon go towards SVDP within the St. Vincent Ferrer school, serving critical and emergency needs.
Areas of work for SVDP St. Vincent Ferrer include:
- The de Paul's Women Center
- Rental and Utilities assistance
- Weekly Grocery Deliveries to low-income households
- Monthly meal service at Vallejo shelters
- Transportation assistance
- Emergency temporary housing
- Assisting previously homeless community members create a home
With our many programs, we need community support to help others in Vallejo. Every cent of this fundraiser goes straight into helping families, seniors, single mothers, and many more people in desperate situations.
