Join the 2026 SVDP Fundraiser Walk/Run!

Get ready to lace up your sneakers for a 3 mile walk and support a great cause! This in-person event is all about helping Vallejo families in need. Bring your friends, enjoy the snacks, soak up the live ukulele band and make a real difference in the community. Please consider donating!

St. Vincent de Paul Society has been around since 1833 and the Vallejo nonprofit has been consistently serving our community since the 1980s. The Friends of the Poor walk is a nationwide fundraiser for St. Vincent de Paul since 2008. The St. Vincent de Paul Society Conferences of St. Vincent Ferrer and St. Catherine of Siena are walking together to fundraise for our friends in need in Vallejo.

Areas of work for SVDP St. Vincent Ferrer include:

•  Food
•  PG&E and water bills
•  some rental assistance
•  providing furniture and appliances for homeless neighbors moving to transitional housing
•  monthly meal service at the Dream Center and Baptist Church
•  food drives to support our pantry
•  dinner packages for Thanksgiving and Christmas and more

SVdP is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. 100% of money raise go directly to serve those in need. Registration is free but with a donation of $10 you can receive a FOP Walk tshirt.
