About This Event

Summer can create challenges for families when school meals are unavailable.

The Remnant Community Network Summer Food Program exists to ensure children in rural communities continue receiving nutritious meals and support throughout the summer months.

Our mission is simple:

Nourishing Kids. Strengthening Families. Building Community.

Meals are distributed once per week in bulk meal boxes to help families plan ahead and reduce transportation barriers.

Who Can Participate?

Children:

✔ Ages 18 and under
✔ Living in Peyton, Ellicott, Calhan, Hanover, and nearby rural communities

What Families Receive Each Week

Each child receives a:

Kids Food & Fun Box, including:

✔ 7 Breakfast Meals
✔ 7 Lunch Meals
✔ Fresh Fruits & Vegetables
✔ Nutritious kid-friendly foods
✔ Family menu guide
✔ Weekly surprise

Golden Ticket Experience

Some boxes include a special Golden Ticket Surprise.

Children who receive a Golden Ticket may win a fun prize available the following Monday.

This initiative encourages excitement, consistency, and family engagement throughout the summer.

Weekly distributions every Monday throughout June and July.

Registration Information

Registration opens weekly.

Deadline:
Wednesday at 12:00 Noon to reserve a box for the following week Monday.
