2026 Student Athletic Trainer Camp

Camp Overview This three-day, hands-on sports medicine camp, led by the Health System Sports Medicine team, is designed to introduce high school students to the field of sports medicine, athletic training and the many associated career opportunities. Training will include:

• Injury treatment techniques • Athletic taping and bracing techniques • Hands-only CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED)• First aid

No prior experience is necessary; students will have the opportunity to practice their newly acquired skills so that they can feel confident and ready to assist certified athletic trainers at their high school.
