2026 Strider Cup World Championship in Sarasota, Florida – Open Race Category, Ages 4-5 years old

This is our premier international event, bringing together hundreds of riders from across the globe to compete for the title of Strider World Champion. It’s a high-energy, unforgettable experience for both participants and spectators.

Join us Saturday, October 10, 2026 to celebrate 15 years of Strider Cup World Championships in the same place where it all began and put your kiddo on the same track that Olympians will be racing on to qualify for LA28!

Register your 4- and 5-year-olds to race on their Strider bike! This will be a sprint race in balance mode where intrepid preschoolers compete in heat and main races to see who will cross the finish line first. Racers can choose to ride a 12” Strider or a Strider 14x without pedals. 4-year-olds can also race in the 12” or 14x categories — this will be an open race where both age groups race against each other. This is the only category available to 5-year-olds.

Non-racers and families are welcome to join in and attend the event. This event will also feature local vendors, games, giveaways, race excitement, and a beach party on Sunday, October 11.

All races are exclusively for Genuine Strider Bikes — no other balance bike brands allowed. Register now or before August 14th, 2026 at 11:59 PM MDT.

Age Classes:

• 4 years old

• 5 years old

No online sign-ups will be accepted after the deadline, so don't wait! Only one racer is allowed to register per form. To register multiple racers, repeat the registration process for each racer.

Our race will be on October 10, at Sarasota BMX in Sarasota, Florida. We will have the following rolling schedule for the Strider Cup World Championship:

• 2 year old class (Strider 12" Bikes)
• 4 year old class (Strider 12" Bikes)
• 3 year old class (Strider 12" Bikes)
• 4 year old class (Strider 14x, No pedals allowed)
• 3 year old class (Strider 14x, No pedals allowed)
• Open class (Strider 12" Bikes or Strider 14x, No pedals allowed)

Pets - No pets are allowed for their safety and the racers. Service animals are welcome.

Parking – Sarasota BMX has abundant parking available with no parking garages or tolls.

Refund Policy - This rain-or-shine event is non-refundable, and tickets can't be replaced or transferred to another race!
