Stewardship volunteers are needed throughout the year at the Wittenbach Wege Center! We have a variety of activities: removing invasive plants, weeding, planting native plants, transplanting, harvesting and cleaning seed, turning the compost pile, cleaning up in and around the pond, monitoring new prairie areas and adding seed.This is a great way to learn more about ecological landscape practices and species identification. Groups, troops, and teams are encouraged! Participants should wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work, including long pants and sturdy shoes. Appropriate and fun for ALL ages! Tools and work gloves provided.
No Registration needed, just drop in!
