2026 State of the Union Watch Party with free appetizers

Come watch the President give his first State of the Union of his second term. Baltimore City Republicans will be at El Salvador Restaurant in Upper Fells Point on the 2nd floor (only accessible by stairs). Two large TV screens, a full bar and dinner menu, and an outdoor deck for smokers. Complimentary appetizers courtesy of The Baltimore City Republican Party until they're gone -- menu food available for purchase. We will raffle off an autographed copy of best-seller "Failure Factory: How Baltimore City Public Schools Deprive Taxpayers and Students of a Future" by Fox 45's Chris Pabst.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Broadway has plenty of free street parking within yards of the restaurant on both sides of the median. MTA buses Brown, Navy, and Lime stop within a few blocks. Ride your bike or use rideshare or scooter yourself. As Oleta Adams would say, "Get Here"!

Is there an ID requirement or an age limit to enter the event?

This restaurant is family-friendly with a full liquor license.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bring a friend or neighbor. Bring Dems who are civil and rational. Bring recent converts to the Republican Party. We have a special place in our hearts for soldiers and first responders.

This is an indoor event, so the facility cannot accommodate pets -- only certified service animals are allowed.

No outside food or drink is allowed. The menu has several vegetarian and vegan options; nothing is kosher or halal.
