Research shows that simply being in the presence of horses can significantly reduce stress hormones and elevate wellbeing. At The Stable Arena, these magnificent animals become partners in your healing — enhancing growth and recovery in ways traditional therapy alone cannot.
The Stable Arena was founded in April 2021 by Terri Keener, LCSW, Certified EMDR Therapist, and Laura Higgins, Certified Equine Specialist. Using the EquiLateral protocol, the horses are active partners in facilitating EMDR therapy in Nevada's only Arena EMDR program.
