WALKING THE ROUTE: 11:00 AM (Flat and 1.5-mile route)
LOCATION: Tower Grove Park, Sons of Rest Pavilion, St. Louis, MO

7:00 – 9:00 AM Set Up
9:30 AM Event Starts
10:30 AM Penny Kids Dash
10:40 AM Opening Ceremony & Drawing Team Name to Cut the Ribbon for Next Year
11:00 AM Group photos, Ribbon cutting to start the Walk, and Walking the route
11:15 AM Frozen Treats are available
12:30 PM Event Ends
12:30 – 1:30 PM Clean Up
The St. Louis Walk for PKD is a family event. Please join other PKD families and friends in raising funds to find more treatments or a cure for polycystic kidney disease (PKD). Spend time connecting with others while nibbling on granola bars, cookies, fruit, crackers, and drinking bottled water. We have music, bubble machine, Penny Kids Dash, Opening Ceremony, drawing team name for next year ribbon cutting, Ribbon cutting, walking the route, tattoos, stickers, large Connect Four games, Checkers, Ring Toss Game, and Bean Bag Toss game.
PENNY KIDS DASH
The Penny Kids Dash is a way for kids 2–12-year-old to get involved and learn to give back by doing extra chores, sell toys in a garage sale, hosting a lemonade stand, etc. and donate to the Penny Kids Dash. All participating kids receive a bank after the Dash. The MC announces kids 2–12-year-old to start coming to the Penny Kids Dash table at 10:20 AM. We will group the kids into 2 or 3 groups based on age and number of participants. The MC will start the Penny Kids Dash at 10:30 AM. The Penny Kids dash is a very popular and fun event to watch!!!
PENNEY KIDS DASH DONATIONS
I have registered a team called Penny Kids Dash, so parents have an online place to donate funds their kids raised for the Penny Kids Dash. ALSO, we will have a bear jar at the Penny Kids Dash table.
T-SHIRT
Every register walker can earn an official Walk t-shirt if they personally raise $100. There are 3 deadlines.
T-SHIRT DEADLINES
Redemption 1 – Fundraise $100 or more by 11:59pm CST on August 7 to receive your shirt by September 4
Redemption 2 – Fundraise $100 or more by 11:59pm CST on September 4 to receive your shirt by October 2
Redemption 3 – Fundraise $100 or more by 11:59pm CST on October 2 to receive your shirt by November 13
T-SHIRT SIZES
Youth sizes: YS, YM, YL
Adult sizes, unisex: S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL.
4 PRIZE LEVELS
Walk for PKD participants who register and fundraise are eligible to redeem one (1) prize based on their individual fundraising total. Team fundraising totals and non-registered donors do not qualify for Walk for PKD prizes.
PRIZE DEADLINE:
The deadline to qualify for a fundraising prize is Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 11:59pm CST.
Prize redemption will begin on Monday, November 2, 2026 and be available until 11:59pm CST on Sunday, November 15, 2026. If you have raised $400 by the fundraising deadline, please check your email for details on how to redeem a prize.
PKD Foundation reserves the right to substitute or change a Walk for PKD prize at any time. If you have any questions about prize redemption, please contact us at [email protected].

NOTE: Here is the address to get you to the general area but not to the Sons of Rest Pavilion. Do not go to the Tower Grove Park Office address. The address takes you to the office and you will not be able to find us. Please follow my directions below.

Off of Interstate 44 or Interstate 64/40
1. Go south on South Grand Boulevard
2. Pass Magnolia Avenue
3. Turn Right into Tower Grove Park main entrance
4. Take the first left immediate (by Tower Grove Park sign) onto Osborn Drive to Sons of Rest Pavilion
5. You will immediately see the Sons of Rest Pavilion
6. Park along BOTH sides of the street.
Note: Tower Grove Park main entrance is off South Grand Boulevard and between Magnolia Avenue and Arsenal Street.
