Our Spiritual teacher Ven. Geshe Kuten Lama leads the annual Spring Retreat, which features a blessing initiation for the Medicine Buddha. Ven. Kuten Lama will offer commentary on how to meditate and do the visualizations during the Medicine Buddha practice.The Medicine Buddha also known as the Healing Buddha is embodiment of the healing powers of the all the Enlighted beings. This practice can help us to heal our physical and emotional sufferings, purify karma, live fuller life, and cultivate well being our ourself and all other sentient beings.
For those who wish to begin studying Buddhism, this is an excellent foundational practice to begin with.

All teachings are offered free of the charge. Support for the monastery is appreciated to cover related expenses such as food and utilities. A suggested donation for the weekend is $125. This is not a requirement, and no one will be denied the opportunity to participate. Everyone is welcome.
