2026 Spartanburg Housing Summit

Join us for the Spartanburg County Housing Summit, a full-day, community-wide convening focused on deepening understanding and accelerating solutions to housing instability, homelessness, and affordable housing across Spartanburg County.This Summit brings together leaders, practitioners, policymakers, funders, advocates, and community partners to strengthen our local housing ecosystem and move from conversation to coordinated action. The day is organized around three core themes: Issue, Opportunity, and Action.

Understand the data, housing landscape, and full housing continuum in Spartanburg County.

OPPORTUNITY
Explore policy, advocacy, funding, and systems-level strategies that can move the needle.

ACTION
Participate in facilitated breakout conversations focused on prevention, services, and housing solutions.

Through shared learning, meaningful dialogue, and cross-sector collaboration, the Summit will identify practical next steps to strengthen our housing response and build a stronger Spartanburg County for everyone.

Info: Vijay Gupta is a nationally recognized speaker whose work sits at the intersection of performance, neuroscience, leadership, ethics, and social impact. A former youngest-ever member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, founder of the nonprofit Street Symphony, and author of the forthcoming memoir Restrung (Hachette), Gupta brings uncommon credibility to conversations about excellence, burnout, belonging, and purpose.

His keynotes draw from lived experience across elite performance environments, hospitals, prisons, shelters, universities, and global stages. Rather than offering motivational platitudes, Gupta speaks to how individuals and institutions sustain excellence without losing their humanity.
