Come join us as we celebrate America's Semiquincentennial (250th Anniversary) together at our 2026 Sparks & Stripes event in Bent Oak Park! This year, the community event will be held on Friday, July 3rd. Gates will open at 6:00pm for all activities and the fireworks will follow later in the evening. And to celebrate the semiquincentennial, this year's fireworks display will be our biggest show yet!
There will be several food trucks, face painters, a tethered hot air balloon ride (weather permitting), balloon artists, a DJ playing music throughout the night, and more! Feel free to bring some yard games and hang out with your family and friends in the park. Mark your calendar now to join us on Friday, July 3rd for some family fun at Bent Oak Park!
Please be aware that no personal fireworks are allowed at the event. And for safety reasons, traffic will be stopped from entering and exiting the park after 9:20pm in preparation for the fireworks display. There will be a shuttle bus service for satellite parking located at City Hall. If you do not plan to stay throughout the full evening, we ask that you park at City Hall and use the shuttle bus so as not to take up parking at the park.
