The South Sound 911 Community Academy is an exciting opportunity that you don't want to miss!

Register to attend our academy and join us for classes every Thursday evening from Thursday, September 3 to Thursday, October 8, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 3580 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma, 98418.

Through six two-hour classes and a four-hour observation session, you'll understand how things work behind the scenes. Master the art of 911 call-taking and become skilled in law and fire dispatching. Explore essential protocols and procedures, discovering firsthand the importance of clear and efficient communication in high-pressure situations. By the end of the academy, you'll have valuable insights into the vital role South Sound 911 plays in ensuring public safety.

* Advance registration is required. Participation is limited to Pierce County residents. To ensure a diverse range of participants, preference will be given to individuals who have not previously attended the South Sound 911 Community Academy.
