Step away from the noise of daily life and enter into a sacred rhythm of prayer, reflection, and deep stillness. This silent retreat invites religious and lay women to contemplate the joy of the Lord—not as something distant or future, but as a reality to be lived here and now.

Rooted in the promise of eternal life, participants will be guided to recognize God’s presence in the present moment, awakening to a deeper awareness of His love, peace, and abiding joy. Through daily conferences, liturgies, and generous space for personal prayer, retreatants will be invited to rest in God and receive the fullness of life He offers.

Silence will be observed throughout the retreat, creating a sacred environment for inner listening and openness to the movement of the Holy Spirit.

Paula Gómez Victorica was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and lived in Massachusetts from 2001 until December 2024. She is a Certified Spiritual Director and facilitator of the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius. Paula completed at Oblate School of Theology a Post-Master’s Certificate in Ignatian Spirituality at Oblate School of Theology, which she started at the School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College, where she also teaches Biblical Spirituality through asynchronous online courses. Before moving to San Antonio, she served three years as Director of the Faith Formation Program and Coordinator of the Hispanic Community at St. Ignatius Jesuit Parish in Boston. Since relocating, Paula has continued her ministry as a Ministry and Liturgy Coordinator at a local parish and as Chapel Coordinator at Immaculate Conception Chapel.
