Get ready to feel merry and bright as Shippensburg kicks off the holiday season on Saturday, December 5, 2026 at 5 p.m.
The Shippensburg Christmas Parade will take place Saturday, December 5, at 5 PM. Sponsored by the Downtown Organizations Investing Together (D.O.I.T.), the parade will feature marching bands, dance groups, churches, businesses and other organizations with the grand finale being Santa Claus. The parade procession will begin on N. Fayette Street to King Street and continue north for several blocks to disperse onto Prince Street. The 2026 theme is “Holiday Movies.”
