Get ready to race in one of Kansas’ most iconic settings!The Shawnee Mission Triathlon & Duathlon takes over beautiful Shawnee Mission Park, the state’s most visited park and a stunning 1,665-acre urban escape. Athletes will race through scenic park roads before hitting the Mill Creek Streamway Trail, where smooth asphalt paths wind alongside the stream and through rolling, tree-lined hills. It’s fast, fun, and incredibly picturesque.
With five different events including relay options, there’s a race for everyone, from first-time triathletes to seasoned veterans chasing a podium finish.
Big news for 2026! This race is the USA Triathlon Kansas State Championship, and the top 35% of finishers in both the Short Course and Olympic Triathlons will qualify for USA Triathlon Nationals.
