2026 Seth Meyers Live: A Benefit for Chilmark Preschool

On Saturday, August 22 at 7:30 p.m., Emmy Award-winning comedian and late-night host Seth Meyers will perform live at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School's Performing Arts Center to benefit the nonprofit Chilmark Preschool. Our new building — years in the making — is almost complete and set to open this September.
Join us for an evening of world-class comedy — and help us close out a capital campaign that will give Island children a permanent home for generations to come.
What are we building?
For 21 years, Chilmark Preschool has operated out of a leased classroom at the Chilmark School on the Beetlebung campus. Increasing demand for toddler and preschool care for working families — combined with an increase in the elementary school populations — has forced the Preschool to seek a new home. Last June, the Preschool officially broke ground on the new facility, and it will double the number of children we are able to serve. Our doors will open this September, allowing us to also enroll toddler-age children, a highly underserved population, for the first time!
But we need your help to raise the last $500,000 to get the project over the finish line. Friends of the Chilmark Preschool is a registered 501(c)(3) and list tax ID number 41-2144337. Find out more about our building project here.
