Get ready for a spooktacular fall tradition in Downtown Eatonton! The 2026 Scarecrow Contest & Showcase features creative scarecrows crafted by local businesses, civic organizations, churches, families, and more. These festive creations will be displayed throughout downtown for the entire month of October, and the public gets to vote for their favorites!
Voting Details:
Dates: October 1 – October 31
Categories:
Business Category – for scarecrows created by local businesses
Non-Business (NB) Category – for scarecrows created by individuals, families, or organizations
How to Vote:
Paper Ballot: Stop by the Main Street office at City Hall to cast your vote. There is no limit to the number of times you can vote using paper ballots.
QR Code: Scan the orange sign at each scarecrow to vote online. Limit: one vote per hour per IP address.
Winners Announcement:
The winning scarecrows will be revealed on Facebook Live on November 1—don’t miss it!
