2026 Ruskin Veterans Parade

Join us for our first parade of the season, GUESTS ARE WELCOME ($35 per adult, children & Veterans are free). We will be having a mini bead drop (no food) the night before (Nov. 6th) from 6:30-8pm. See the details below:

Mini Bead Drop, Nov. 6th from 6:30-8pm: The Bead Drop will be at Stepps Float Yard (5116 E Shadowlawn Ave, Tampa). Bead Drop is your opportunity to drop off your bead bags on the float the night before the parade, so you don't have to drag them with you to the parade. We will have music, open bar, raffles, and merchandise available for those who need/want to buy.
Day of Parade, plan to be at the float between 9-9:30am. We need to decorate the float before the parade start. We will be taking a group photo at 10:30am.
The parade kicks off at 11am. The parade will begin on US Hwy 41 at 5th Ave SE and travel North to 11th Avenue. Staging will be on 2nd St NE and our float will be at the end near E Shell Pointe Road. We are float #32, which will be towards the end of the parade route.
PARKING: Parking for members can be at either the Winn Dixie on 41 and 11th, OR at the Old Post Office location at 455 N U.S. Hwy 41, Ruskin, FL 33570. We are going to ask the float driver to drop us off at the Winn Dixie at the end of the parade. PLEASE NOTE: if you park at the Winn Dixie, it is a .5 mile walk to the float for staging. If you park at the Old Post Office, you will have a .5 mile walk back to your car at the end of the parade. See the map image below.

If you are bringing a child guest you must complete this guest waiver on their behalf. If you are bringing an adult guest, share the waiver link with them to complete. All Veterans and children age 18 and younger are free. The guest fee for adults (not including Veterans) is $35.
AFTER PARTY: The VA is throwing an After Party at the Ruskin VFW (5120 N US Hwy 41, Ruskin, FL) with food for sale.
