Join the Sugar Grove Park District for the 2026 Run to Remember 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, September 19 at Harter Middle School.
Each year, the Run to Remember honors a member of our community whose impact deserves to be remembered. This year's honoree is Delmar "Del" Krieghbaum.
If you grew up in Sugar Grove, there's a good chance you knew Del. Whether you remember him as the Milkman, from the Sugar Grove Fire Department, coaching baseball, serving the Village, or simply as someone who always had time to stop and talk, Del spent his life giving back to the community. This event is our way of recognizing that legacy.
The Krieghbaum family has chosen the Sugar Grove Historical Society as this year's charitable partner. Donations are completely optional, but they help preserve the history of Sugar Grove and the people who helped shape it.

5K Start: 10:00 AM
Fun Run for children ages 12 and under (after 5k finish)
