2026 Rockville Lantern Festival

Celebrated in many Asian countires, the Lantern Festival marks a major celebration on the 15th of the first month of the lunar calendar year. Our event on the afternoon of Saturday 02/21/2026 at the F Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville, MD will feature exclusive Moms & Kids Hiphop, Miyako Taiko, music & performances, and a variety of fun acitivities including Diabolo (Chinese yoyo), lantern making, arts & crafts and so much more!

This family and kids friendly event is organized by the Rockville Sister Cities Corporation in partnership with the Millennial Global Youth Foundation (MGY).
