2026 Roanoke Ride of Silence

PedalSafe ROA is honored to host the 2026 Roanoke Ride of Silence alongside the City of Roanoke. We invite you to join us.

Every year on the third Wednesday of May, cyclists around the world gather for a Ride of Silence to remember those killed and honor those injured on our roads.

Market Square, Downtown Roanoke

6:30 PM Gather · 7:00 PM Ride

Free & open to all ages and abilities

What to know:

• Bring a bike and wear a helmet
• The ride is held in silence at a max pace of 10 MPH
• Wear a black armband for someone killed on our roads
• Wear a red armband for someone injured

Registration is free but required: all riders must sign a waiver before the ride. Volunteer opportunities are also available.

RAIN DATE

In the case of inclement weather, the rain date for the 2026 Ride of Silence will be Saturday, May 23, 6:30pm gather, 7:00pm ride. PedalSafe will alert participants if the ride is being rescheduled.
