2026 Religious Freedom Symposium

Lethbridge Friends of Religious Freedom is hosting this event. Guest speaker Dr. J. Young will present on defending Religious Liberty as a Foundation Freedom, Bill C-9 and recent Human Rights tribunal decisions. He will also suggest ways that citizens can promote, protect and defend religious freedoms. Followed by Q & A.
Dr. Young was born and raised in Alberta. He recieved a BA from U of A, an MA from Carlton (Ottawa) and. PhD from the University of Toronto in Political Scicence. He taught at the U of A, at Brigham Young University and the University of Northen BC. He has been a visiting scholar at Hokkaido University in Japan and a fellow of the International Center for Law and Relgion Studies at BYU.
Lethbridge Friends of Relgious Freedom is a group from a variety of faiths who are concerned about religious freedoms. This will be an interesting evening. No Charge, rush seating, light refreshments served.
