This isn’t your average weekend round.The 2026 Open at Gold Hills is set for May 30–31, and if you’re looking for a competitive field, a great course, and a reason to actually keep your score honest… this is it.
We’re talking:
$8,000 purse (based on a full field)
NCGA Points Event
Men’s + Senior Championship Flights
A full weekend of good golf (and a little pressure)
$175 Adult Entry
$125 Gold Hills Member Entry
$75 Junior Entry
What you get:
Golf both days, range balls, lunch, tee gifts, and a shot at some solid prizes, including closest-to-the-pin.
Play your game in:
• Championship (0–5)
• Men’s Flights
• Seniors (55+)
• Women’s Flights
• Junior Divisions
Also worth mentioning, this event helps support junior golf right here in the Redding area. So yeah, it’s competitive, but it’s also doing some good.
