Description

Financial literacy can help build independence in our members. Join us for an engaging money management programme where members will learn practical money skills — recognising coins vs notes, reading price tags, and practising simple budgeting, such as checking if they have enough money for purchases. 

This programme takes a unique approach: each session is designed as a partnership between learners and their caregivers. During the session, members will learn and practise new skills directly. Caregivers will then be guided on how to reinforce those same skills at home through simple, everyday variations — making learning last well beyond the classroom.

To celebrate their progress, members will visit the nearest supermarket in Session 8 to put their skills into practice with their caregivers by their side.

IMPORTANT

• Members can only be accompanied by 1 caregiver except for members requiring 2 caregivers’ assistance.
• Due to limited slots per CORE activity, if a member is absent 3 consecutive times without a valid reason, his/her slot will be given to members on the waiting list.
• Caregivers to prepare cash for their youths when they visit the supermarket in S8.
