In preparation for the LAB AGM hosted by Chief Gordon Bluesky of Brokenhead Ojibway Nation on September 2 & 3, 2026 at the RBC Convention Center in Winnipeg, MB.
We will be covering the following topics:
- First Nation Land Governance Registry and Transition Period
- Enforcement
- Framework Agreement Amendment
- Additions to Reserve: New Process
- Strategic Plan and Prioritites for 2026 and beyond
Travel Assistance
The LAB will reimburse up to $1500.00 in travel costs (car rental, economy airfare, taxi and mileage) for one representative from your Nation. Additionally, we will reimburse up to 2 nights accommodation (room, tax, fees) to a maximum of $299/night plus taxes.
Hot breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided during the meeting.
