Keynote Presentation
Host: Kulbir Colin Singh Dhillon
Info: As organizations across the Greater Toronto Region work toward building a
climate-resilient economy, a new tension is emerging:
Artificial Intelligence is accelerating rapidly, while raising legitimate concerns
around energy use, water consumption, and environmental impact.
This keynote addresses that tension directly.
Rather than positioning AI as purely beneficial or harmful, this session explores a more
critical question:
Can AI and sustainability truly co-exist, and if so, under what conditions?

Panel #2 – Courageous Leadership in Climate Action
Host: Heather Mak
Info: While technology, data, and decarbonization strategies are essential pillars of climate action, meaningful and lasting transformation also relies on something far more human: courageous leadership.
In this candid conversation, senior leaders will explore what it truly takes to champion sustainability from the inside out - not just through technical expertise, but through the emotional labour, conviction, and resilience required to lead people through change.
