Join the 3rd Annual PNW CLASH Tournament. This is RUSH's opening grass volleyball tournament of the season. Come make friends and establish yourself as one of the top grass volleyball players in the region. For quads, grab four of your friends regardless of gender and come show you are the best grass squad. COST: $80 for doubles teams (early bird price) and $140 for quads teams.

DATE: Saturday, June 6, 2026
LOCATION: 2150 S Norman St, Seattle, WA 98144. Judkins Upper Playfield
TIME and SCHEDULE: Tournament starts at 9 AM. Pools play schedules will be posted the night before.
FORMAT: SHORT courts for doubles. We use doubles sized lines. BIG courts for quads. Pool play followed by double elimination for playoffs.
Pool play games are 1 set to 25 points capped at 25. Playoffs matches are best 2 out of 3 games (21, 21, 15) win by 2 points, not capped.
Contenders bracket games become just 1 set to 25 points after 3pm.

REFUNDS: No refunds after May 29, 2026. Email [email protected] for a full refund before then. If the tournament is canceled due to severe weather or for any other reason, everyone is entitled to a 100% refund.

RULES for doubles:
RALLY SCORING
BLOCK - counts as a touch
DIRECTIONAL BLOCK- is legal, if there is a disagreement about a blocking vs attacking motion leading to a tip, replay the point
NON HARD DRIVEN-You can use your hands, but it must be CLEAN. You can receive serves with open hands as long as it is CLEAN.
HARD DRIVEN balls can be doubled if taken with open hands.
SET OVER-Must travel within your shoulders to the other side of the net, if the wind pushes the ball over it is legal
OPEN HAND TIPS - are NOT allowed
REPLAY any controversial points where both parties can't come to an agreement
A net is a net. You lose the point if you touch the net.
If a player goes under the net into the other side and physical interferes with a play, the team whose player went under loses the point.
If your team is late by more than 10 minutes from the start of your game, your team loses the Set. Late by more than 15 minutes and your team loses the match.
RUSH Director reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
RULES for quads:
Rally scoring.
Can't lift the ball
Block does not count as a touch
Directional blocking is legal
You can receive any ball with opens hands including serves.
Sets do not have to be clean, they can be doubled (Beginners Only)
Sets have to be clean, can't be doubled (Intermediate level Only)
Open hand tips allowed (Beginners Only)
Open hand tips not allowed (Intermediate level Only)
The ball may touch the net when serving. Let serves are legal
Replay any controversial points.
When setting the ball over the net, you do not have to be squared (Beginners Only)
