Join business, civic, cultural, and community leaders on Friday, November 13, 2026, for a special day celebrating regional collaboration, Irish-American heritage, and the enduring connections between Plymouth County and Ireland.
The day will bring together three distinct experiences at three of Plymouth's landmark venues, culminating in the Sister County Welcome Dinner and presentation of the 2026 Pikeman Awards.

The Pikeman Awards recognize individuals whose leadership, service, and commitment strengthen the bonds between Ireland and Irish America and advance the ideals and causes important to our shared heritage.
2026 Pikeman Award Honorees
🇮🇪 Irishman of the Year
Congressman William Keating
Congressman Keating is being recognized for his longstanding commitment to Ireland and the U.S.-Ireland relationship, including his work concerning Northern Ireland, the consequences of Brexit, and the continuing importance of the Good Friday Agreement.
🇮🇪 Irishwoman of the Year
Síghle FitzGerald, Consul General of Ireland in Boston
Consul General FitzGerald is being honored for her exceptional engagement with Irish and Irish-American communities throughout New England and her commitment to strengthening connections between Ireland and communities across the South Shore.
Each honoree will receive the Pikeman Award, a statuette inspired by the iconic Pikeman monument in County Wexford. The Pikeman symbolizes courage, determination, sacrifice, and service to a cause greater than oneself.
