2026 Pike-A-Thon Ice Fishing Tournament on Lake Latoka

Join us in person for the coolest event of the year! The 2026 Pike-A-Thon on Lake Latoka is all about having fun, making memories, and catching Northerns! This is an event being put on by the Lake Latoka Property Owners Association to reduce our Northern Pike population and all proceeds will go to first responders through We Got Your Back Alexandria, MN. The current over population of Northern Pike in Latoka have limited our Walleye stocking efforts and the numbers of Walleye are significantly down. So please come on out, have some fun, catch and keep some Northern Pike and hopefully win some money... Mark your calendar and get ready to be part of something awesome! 2026 Pike-A-Thon Ice Fishing Tournament Rules & Regulations

1. The tournament is open to all anglers with a valid Minnesota fishing license.

2. Only Northern Pike caught the day of the tournament, between the hours of 9am and 3pm, will count for final weigh in. It is encouraged that all walleyes be catch and release.

3. Weigh in is from 3pm to 4pm at the North Latoka boat access located at 2950 Latoka Beach Rd SW, Alexandria, MN 56308. No weigh ins after 4pm will be considered.

4. This is not a team tournament; all anglers must keep their own fish separate. Anglers can share a fish house, etc. but must only weigh the fish they caught.

5. Bag and slot limits for Norther Pike per Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MNDNR).

6. Live and artificial bait is acceptable within MNDNR regulations.

7. Anglers must keep all Northerns kept per MNDRN wanton waste regulations.

8. Fish do not need to be alive at weigh in.

9. Winners will be determined by total bag weight. Ties will be broken by 1) Number of fish, 2) Biggest fish, 3) Coin toss.

10. Basic liability insurance must be current for all vehicles and fish houses involved in the tournament. This is an ice fishing tournament, and every participant must understand that they proceed on the ice at their own risk. Always check the ice thickness before fishing.

11. Life jackets and safety gear are recommended.

12. All anglers must demonstrate good sportsmanship, no littering, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct will be tolerated. Violators may be disqualified.

13. Please keep all northerns caught, it is our intention to help reduce the overall number of northerns in Lake Latoka.
