2026 Performing Arts Showcase - Purpose

Join us Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 PM or Friday, May 29 at 6:30 PM for POYDS Dance Company’s Performing Arts Showcase: Purpose.

This heartfelt performing arts experience features aspiring dancers and professional artists of all ages in an inspiring evening of dance and guest artistic performances. Purpose explores what it means to embrace one’s calling and discover the deeper “why” behind our lives—not only to impact our own journey and legacy, but also to use our gifts to touch the lives of others.

Through short dance and theater vignettes, Purpose invites audiences to dream, reflect, and rediscover a childlike sense of wonder. This showcase encourages each viewer to examine the small, courageous steps they can take daily to embrace their identity, passions, and calling, while reimagining how they can shape their own destiny and lasting legacy.

Reserve your ticket today for this originally created performing arts showcase, produced and directed by Professional Choreographer, Artistic Director, and Owner, Kayleigh Schadwinkel-Hickman.

• All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued.

Tickets may be purchased online via Eventbrite from Sunday, March 1 – Wednesday, May 20. Payment is accepted via debit/credit card or PayPal.

In-person ticket sales are available by appointment only. We strongly encourage purchasing tickets during the pre-sale period to take advantage of discounted pricing.

Adults: $15.00

Students (ages 8–18): $12.00

Children (ages 7 and under): $10.00

$20.00 per ticket
Reserved seating pricing is the same for all ages.

Tickets purchased Thursday, May 21 – Friday, May 29 will be sold at full price. Tickets may be purchased online via Eventbrite during this period or in person at the door on May 28 and May 29 only.

While full-price tickets will be available for convenience, we strongly encourage purchasing during pre-sale to receive discounted pricing.

Reserved seating will not be available during week-of or at-the-door sales.

Pre-purchase gifts for your POYDS dancer to have ready for pick-up on the day of the showcase! POYDS staff will contact purchasers regarding sizing and pick-up details the week of May 25.
