2026 Oxford Witches Ride
About this Event
PLEASE read the information below in its ENTIRETY! It will answer many questions you may have!
Starting Location: Midtown Shopping Center in Oxford, MS
Registration: 5:15-5:45pm Line-up: 6:00pm Start time: 6:15pm
REGISTRATION: Begins at 5:15p.m! Please plan to arrive NO LATER than that time so we can get everyone lined up! Look for signage to register and receive your wristband.
GOLF CARTS: The city of Oxford will only allow as many riders on each cart as it was designed to seat. There will be no exceptions! Oxford Police officers will be enforcing this rule. Golf cart parking will be up front under the Mid-Town sign
CONTESTS: Judging for “Best Decorated Bike” & “Best Decorated Golf Cart” will take place at 5:30 p.m. - no late entries will be accepted!
Judging for “Best Dressed Witch” & "Best Dressed Coven" will take place at 5:45 p.m. on the stage near registration tents - no late entries will be accepted!
Winners will be announced at the after party @ Proud Larry's - must be present to win!
PARKING: Please plan to carpool, as parking is limited! There will be a designated section of the lot for cars to park to allow plenty of space for bike riders to line up.
LATE WITCHES: Online ticket sales will be cut off at midnight on October 25! If any witches want to participate that have not purchased a ticket prior to that time, there will be a LATE WITCHES tent at the event.
RULES:
- Participation in the Witches Ride is open to ladies ages 18 and up! Children are welcome to watch the witches ride along the parade route & collect candy thrown by the riders!
- Please don’t drink and fly- save it for the after party!
- You will receive a wristband at registration. Please wear it for the duration of the ride and at the after party.
- Witches MUST keep your hat on!
- Please bring a bag of candy or treats to throw to kids!
- Please leave your pets at home - for their safety!!!
- MORE IS MORE!! Go ALL OUT on your costume and bike decor!
THE AFTER PARTY:
Following the parade, ALL participating witches are invited to a celebration at Proud Larry’s. There will be light bites and a cash bar. We look forward to seeing all of you there! Winners for the following awards will be announced at the party - must be present to win!
