History comes alive in downtown Orwigsburg on Saturday, September 12, 2026, when the Orwigsburg Area Business and Professional Association (OABPA) presents Orwigsburg Heritage Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This free, rain-or-shine community celebration will fill downtown Orwigsburg with live music, classic cars, horse-drawn wagon rides, historical attractions, family entertainment, local artisans and an exciting selection of food and beverages.
“Heritage Day celebrates everything that makes Orwigsburg special—our history, local businesses, community organizations and the people who bring our town to life,” said the OABPA Events Committee. “We invite families from throughout the region to spend the day exploring, eating, shopping and celebrating with us.”
Entertainment for All Ages.
This year’s attractions are scheduled to include:
• Steel Pony Car Show
• Leiby’s Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides
• Sabo Irish Dancers
• Danni Long Legs, stilt walker and entertainer
• Nate Heater, street magician
• Victorian High Wheelers featuring bicycles from the 1870s and 1880s
• Kimmel’s Evangelical Free Church bounce house and children’s games
Live Music on the M&T Bank Stage.
Festivalgoers can enjoy two popular regional bands throughout the day:
• 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.: Jeremiah James & The Revival
• 1–3 p.m.: Long Acre Hollow
Come Hungry
Heritage Day will offer food and beverages for nearly every taste.
Scheduled vendors include:

• Market Square Coffee House
• DiMaio’s Mustard Seed
• Bouchette Vineyards
• Mountaintop Bistro
• Boy Scouts Pack 624
• Rainbow Hose Company
From savory meals and festival favorites to baked goods, wine and refreshing drinks, visitors will find plenty to enjoy throughout the day.
