2026 One Day Play Festival - Southeastern CT

The Chestnut Street Playhouse will be home to the Southeastern Connecticut One Day Play Festival on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The final performance begins at 7pm on the 27th - don't miss it!
On the night of June 26th, writers will assemble to write original one act plays for the festival, and through the day on the 27th directors and actors will assemble and rehearse to bring these plays to life.
While sign-ups have closed, we can still squeeze in Actors for those interested; please email us at [email protected] if this is of interest to you!
The curtain rises on the final performance at 7:00 PM that evening, and you are invited to join us for those one-time original performances. Don't miss your chance to be involved or catch the final performance at 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 27th, at the Chestnut Street Playhouse!
