2026 OFLTA Fall Conference

We are excited to welcome you to the OFLTA Fall Conference at Oklahoma Baptist University. Our Keynote speaker is Dr. Kelly Forbes, former District ELL Facilitator, Title III Director, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, Dual Language Head Principal, Director of ESSER, Director of Dual Language Education, and current adjunct professor in Edmond. The Call for Proposals is OPEN now until Sunday, August 23rd. ONE session will be voted on as Best of Oklahoma and will represent OFLTA at the SWCOLT Conference February 4-6 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. OFLTA provides a small stipend to cover the costs of registering and travel to the event. To submit a session click
Registration this year includes membership for the 2026-2027 school year (August 1 - July 31). Members are eligible to vote during conference business meetings, serve on the OFLTA board, and have access to our awards.
We will announce the 2026-2027 Teacher of the Year during our Business Meeting. The nomination period for the 2027-2028Teacher of the Year will open at the conclusion of the Fall Conference. To nominate a member for this award please visit our website Awards.
We will also announce the recipients of the Nancy Boles scholarship, and the new Desa Dawson Memorial Scholarship.
Anyone who is attending, presenting, or exhibiting at the Fall Conference MUST register on Eventbrite with one of our ticket options. See the FAQ below to determine which ticket is best for you.
If you are registering multiple people, please use the ATTENDING person's email address so that this person receives essential conference information. It would be best to register them one at a time. Our board is seeking a Vice-President to begin their term at the Fall Conference (voting will take place during the business meeting). If you are interested in running for Vice-President please email us at [email protected]. You can also make nominations during the time allotted during the business meeting.
