7/20/26, Big 30 Physicals and First Practice for New York team.
New York football players will report to the Olean Medical Group building (535 Main St., Olean, NY 14760, Second Floor, Area A-2), NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM, for your physicals prior to going to Olean Middle School’s football field (401 Wayne St., Olean, NY 14760) for the first practice. Please bring the physical form and medical history questionnaire with you to the Olean Medical Group facility.
Doctors/Nurses, who are donating their time, will be made available to each player in need of a physical prior to participating in the game. Your vital statistics will be taken upon arrival and you will proceed to your physical immediately after that. Please be sure to stay hydrated and DO NOT drink energy drinks that day!!! Not staying hydrated will cause your blood pressure and heart rate to spike, as will energy drinks. If you fail your physical for elevated blood pressure and heart rate, we have no choice but to send you to your family doctor to get cleared to play.
Once at Olean Middle School, you'll receive your practice jersey from a Big 30 Committee member. That jersey is yours for the duration of practices and will be turned back in, clean, at the parade, when you receive your game jersey.
After physicals, you'll have a one-hour practice in helmets & cleats as soon as the last player has arrived at Bradford High.
Please bring filled water bottles of your own to every practice. Olean Middle School should have water available but not all schools will have it.
