Is this the year you focus on your writing? Spend a week with your work in progress, guided by literary pros and surrounded by fellow writers serious about publishing their work.I invite you to join us at the 13th annual Novel Bookcamp, an in-person writing workshop, held June 21-27 at the Siena Retreat Center in southeast Wisconsin, USA, with easy access from Milwaukee and Chicago. We offer three small-group writing programs: the Bookcamp Workshop, the Writing Retreat, or the Book Coach. And each is split into two tracks: All-Genre for realistic genres, and Speculative Fiction for writers of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and related genres.
Our 2026 staff is outstanding, featuring award-winning novelists SJ Rozan (Detective Mysteries). Cynthia Palayo (Horror), Robb Grindstaff (Contemporary Drama), with literary agents, Kelly Van Sant, Cathie Hedrick-Armstrong, Miriam Cortinovis, and development editors Nicole Whisler and Suzy Vadori, as well as many more.
