Mark Your Calendars!! The NORTH COUNTRY ICEBREAKER is back!!
The hottest event on ice is returning in 2026 to Breezy Point Resort!
The North Country Icebreaker is a family-friendly, public event aimed at introducing people to Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and our mission to protect public access to the wild places and animals, and introduce people to those hunting and angling traditions.
We are thrilled to be bringing this event back to Breezy Point Resort on beautiful Pelican Lake, which presents a perfect backdrop for ice fishing, pike spearing, winter camping, seminars, a Wild Game Cookoff Competition, and public land-owning friends, old and new, to convene for Minnesota BHA's premier annual gathering.
This event is open to members and non-members of BHA and is designed to provide an educational and inspirational opportunity for our outdoor community to gather and share stories, recipes, and tactics for the year ahead.

Lodging:
Discounted lodging is available through Breezy Point Resort for attendees. Lodging costs are in addition to ticket price. To book accommodations, reserve online or call Breezy Point Resort at (800)-432-3777 and reserve under the Backcountry Hunters & Anglers name. Lodging will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so help us out and book early!
