The 2026 NEHCA Spring Show & Gathering is HERE! The Northeast is proud to offer our ROE AHCA Super-Point Show at Eastern States Exposition during the first weekend of May!The NEHCA Spring Show & Gathering welcomes all ages. Whether you are an experienced breeder or new, looking to learn more about the Highland cattle, NEHCA welcomes you to partake in our weekend gathering. Come join NEHCA and Highland cattle breeders from all over the region at the largest Highland Cattle gathering in the northeast for a weekend full of fun, learning, and camaraderie.
Whether you are exhibiting cattle or spectating, there is plenty to see, do, learn, & connect amongst Highland farms of all ages from across the country! If you have Highland cattle but have never shown before- come exhibit! The NEHCA Spring Show is for all experience levels- we all start somewhere! We will mentor you and answer your questions. Please contact our Show Committee and inquire about our new exhibitor mentorship program!
Interested in purchasing AHCA Highland Cattle? Come chat with multiple breeders, learn more about the Highland breed & view different genetics. Many farms have cattle for sale. This event offers fun for the whole family!
2026 NEHCA Spring Show & Gathering Schedule (subject to change):
-Thursday, 12pm: Cattle may begin arriving.
-Friday, 12pm: Cattle must be in place.
-Friday, 1pm: All-Ages Novice Showmanship Clinic, followed by NEHCA Youth Showmanship, and Adult Showmanship
-Friday, 4pm: NEHCA 'Highland Howdy' Meet n' Greet! Fellowship Appetizers, Potluck & Yard Games
-Friday, 6pm: Big East Pizza Night & Farm Olympics
-Saturday, 10am: NEHCA Spring Open Show
-Saturday, 6pm: NEHCA Banquet, Social, Dinner, & Awards! @Storrowton Tavern, Carriage House (banquet tickets are available on the NEHCA Showman website- new software this year)
-Sunday, 8-12pm: Cattle depart
Please note, new this year, all Show animal entries, banquet tickets and sponsorships will be conducted through the NEHCA Showman website.
The animal entry deadline is Wednesday, April 15th (late entries will be accepted until April 18th with a $10 fee/entry)
The NEHCA Spring Show runs in conjunction with the Big East Youth & Jackpot Show- one of the largest youth shows on the East Coast! Do you know youth looking to get involved in agriculture? This is an excellent opportunity to immerse them in the agricultural industry, create agricultural friendships, & have plenty of fun!!
Spectating at the NEHCA Open Show & Big East Youth Show is free!
