When:January 31st (14U 11-1pm, 10U 2-4pm)
AND
February 1st (10U 11-1pm, 14U 2-4pm)
This year, we are asking athletes be at BOTH days of evaluations. This is a change from year's past. Our hope is that this gives our evaluators a better look at the athlete over a 2-day period, rather than just a single look.
Where:
NEHS Softball field and hitting facility
Who:
Kids age *6 through 14 wanting to play baseball in the NE area
*6 year olds that are wanting to play t-ball do not need to sign-up or attend evaluations. T-ball registration will open in March.
What to bring:
Players will need a glove, bat, and baseball cap.
Tennis shoes/trainers/turf shoes or molded cleats only. NO METAL CLEATS ALLOWED.
Baseball pants encouraged, rain gear/layers will be needed in case of rain.
A $50 evaluation fee will be charged upon registration, which will go towards season fees that will be due after teams have been formed and approved by WVBR in February.
We will also have our swap table out all weekend, so bring your gently used baseball gear from season's past and grab some new-to-you gear for the upcoming year.
