2026 National Opal’s Walk for Freedom
Join Dr. Opal Lee on June 19, 2026, for Opal’s Walk for Freedom, a synchronized nationwide movement honoring Juneteenth. The walk will take place simultaneously in Fort Worth, Washington, DC, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Birmingham, Honolulu, Evanston, Detroit, Grants Pass, St. Paul, and virtually, connecting communities nationwide. Celebrate freedom, equality, and justice with a community walk, youth activities, and educational programming. Participate in person or online to be part of this historic, ten-city celebration!
