2026 NACo Achievement Awards Ceremony

Each year, Howard County has long been recognized as a national leader in innovation, consistently earning more NACo Achievement Awards than any other county in Maryland. This year, Howard County received an extraordinary 113 NACo Achievement Awards, recognizing the creativity, dedication, and impact of our departments, offices, and community partners.

This year's celebration is especially meaningful, as it will be Dr. Ball's final NACo Awards Ceremony as Howard County Executive. We hope to make it a memorable occasion that celebrates not only these awards, but also the people whose commitment has helped make Howard County one of the best places to live, work, play, grow, and thrive in our nation.

Laurel Park offers free, on-site parking at the venue. There will be no shuttle service to this event.
