The Haywood Choral Society is pleased to invite the public for an evening of singing entertainment performed by six of our members.This is a benefit concert and proceeds will go to the Haywood Choral Society. Haywood Choral Society singers Beverly Burton, Izzy Reynoso, Valeria Raymond, Nicholas Peterson-Paugh, Lee Thomas, our director, Dr. Isaiah Feken and pianist Renée Alsbrook will be presenting the concert in Waynesville on Friday, August 28, at 7:00 PM at The First United Methodist Church of Waynesville 566 S. Haywood Street , Waynesville. There is no set admission charge, however contributions will be much appreciated to help enhance the arts through this worthy organization.
Musical selections to be performed from Broadway include such titles as “Another Op’nin’, Another Show” from Kiss Me, Kate, “I Feel Pretty” from West Side Story, “Almost Like Being in Love” from Brigadoon, “One Day More” from Les Misérables, “What Do the Simple Folk Do” from Camelot, “The Song that Goes Like This” from Spamalot, “Tango: Maureen” from Rent and other selections.
