Join us on December 5, 2026, in Holly Springs, NC for the return of the Mushing Mutts Canicross Race and Dog-Friendly 5K, hosted by North Carolina Urban Mushing!
🏃♂️ Canicross = Dog-powered trail running (your pup is part of the team!)- This event has gear requirements
🐕 Prefer to run solo or with your pup at a more casual pace? The Dog-Friendly 5K is for everyone — with or without a dog!
🌲 Trail course with wide doubletrack and short singletrack sections
🛍️ New this year: On-site holiday vendor market for shopping, treats, and dog gear
💙 Supporting Turtle Pants Farm, an all-animal sanctuary and rescue adopting out cats and dogs in Pittsboro. All race profits and donations will go directly toward helping them help more animals find their best forever homes.
🌐 Virtual 5K option available if you can’t make it in person!
