2026 Museum Members Summer Celebration

The Museum's summer fundraiser, traditionally held at the Tassajara One Room School, is changing location this year and wll be moving over to the Train Depot for an Americana/ Western themed 2026 to go along with the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Please join us for an afternoon of exploration through the many and varied programs MuseumSRV has to offer.

We will be honoring our amazing members, sponsors and volunteers while raising funds for our educational programs, including California's First Peoples and the Tassajara One Room School. The event proceeds will benefit this historic schoolhouse that has served as an educational hub for four generations of San Ramon Valley children, spanning from 1889 to 1946. Your generous contribution toward this objective would be immensely valued and appreciated.

Tickets to the event this year are free to our current members, volunteers and sponsors.

The Celebration will be held in the parking lot of the Museum at 205 Railroad Ave in downtown Danville.
The family friendly afternoon activities will include:

• Rides on Trackless Trains

• Games & prizes
• Booths and tables featuring samples of Museum’s education programs, exhibits & tours
• One Room Schoolhouse docent in period wardrobe
• Live music throughout the afternoon
• Small bites and desserts
• Wine, beer and other beverages
• Unique artifacts from the museum’s collections
• Raffle with exciting prizes
• Fire & Police vehicles
• Tours inside the Museum featuring “Totally Trains” running through the Depot
