Yes!! It's that time of year! The Montgomery Institute and The MAX - The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience present The MSA Pines Region Songwriters Festival in Meridian on July 17-18! Downtown Meridian venues will be filled with original music, songwriting workshops, youth songwriting workshops sponsored by Jimmie Rodgers Festival and Museum, and a grand finale at our partner location, The MAX - The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience.
This year’s programming will feature more than 30 songwriters, youth and professional songwriting workshops, recording sessions hosted through our partnership with The MAX, and a Grand Finale performance featuring award-winning Mississippi author and singer-songwriter Michael Farris Smith and his band, The Smokes.
