Mountaineer Week at West Virginia University showcases the best of Appalachian culture and tradition. The Arts & Craft Fair began in 1972 and celebrates Appalachian artisans. Attendees can browse and shop nearly 70 booths displaying woodworks, pottery, soap, jewelry, textiles, food and more. The Quilt Show began in 1979 and is a partnership with the Country Roads Quilt Guild. Guild members display handmade quilts in the Elizabeth Moore Hall Betty Boyd Lounge. Admission to free.
