2026 Montgomery County Black Business Expo

The Black Business Expo, presented by the Montgomery County Black Collective and The Universities at Shady Grove (USG), is Montgomery County’s premier gathering dedicated to elevating Black-owned businesses, strengthening economic opportunity, and building long-term community wealth.

Now in its third year, the Expo has grown into a highly anticipated regional event that brings together entrepreneurs, consumers, sponsors, and community leaders in one intentionally curated space. In 2025, the Expo welcomed 700+ registered attendees, sold out ahead of event day, and earned consistent local media coverage, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted event for visibility and connection.

At its core, the Black Business Expo is about building what comes next, creating space for Black businesses in Montgomery County to be seen, supported, and positioned to thrive well beyond the event itself.
